Paul Baran Did'nt Invent The Internet But




he did invent packet switching. So what is packet switching? Its the concept of a distributed network that is less vulnerable to attack or disruption than conventional networks


He approached AT&T with the idea to build networks this way, but the company rejected his idea as impossible.

However, when Arpanet was launched in 1969 they used the very design that Baran
suggested. It was not impossible.
